What Reidys say…
The Stentor Harlequin violin is handcarved from solid tonewoods. Solid Spruce top, Maple back and sides with a maple neck. The violin is fitted with an alloy tailpiece and integral adjusters and comes rosewood pegs and fingerboard. Unlike many coloured violins Stentor’s Harlequin is a ‘real’ instrument. Buy with confidence, you’re actually buying a violin very close to a Stentor Student 1 sprayed up.
All the Harlequin violins are personally checked and set up by myself before they go out. Any minor adjustments that are needed are done. I check the pegs are fitting properly and then put the strings on. The bridge is stood up in the correct position and the violin is then tuned. Rosin is included and applied to the bow, its glue like quality enables the bow to grip the strings to produce a sound. This violin will arrive to you ready to play.
Stentor sell more violins worldwide than any other manufacturer. Noted for their expertise and quality craftsmanship. I have been selling them for over 15 years and have no hesitation in recommending the Stentor Harlequin violin as the best coloured violin on the market.
A Harlequin Violin bought from Reidys Home of Music will always be set up correctly and ready to play. It is this attention to detail that makes all the difference.
