Although the body is constructed from conventional materials, solid Sitka spruce top with koa fine veneer back and sides, that’s where the traditional part ends.

The all-new offset cutaway design conforms to the body while also increasing the tonal balance so you can play louder before encountering any feedback issues. This is also the first Martin to include X bracing on the back and the top for even greater projection and a stunning acoustic voice bursting with luscious overtones.

Soloing has also been made easier than ever before with Martin’s patent-pending Sure Align Linear Dovetail Neck Joint that does away with the usual acoustic neck heel so you can reach every fret.

This new system is also infinitely adjustable so you can fine-tune your neck angle and intonation for the perfect setup. The neck itself features a slimVelocity profile that resembles the hand feel and taper of an electric guitar, making it the most comfortable acoustic we’ve ever played.

When you need more volume, the Fishman MX-T electronics provide a transparent acoustic sound that perfectly reflects your unplugged tone and also includes a built-in tuner that automatically mutes your signal when engaged. It sounds great and feels fantastic, but the Martin SC-13E also looks stunning with a gloss finish and Celestial Blue accents on the binding, fretboard and rosette.
