This is a really amazing looking 2016 Fender Road Worn 50s Precision Bass in a nitro sunburst finish. The relic job on this is top notch. Looks like something from Fender’s Custom Shop. Appropriate wear marks in all the right places like armrest, around edges, and belt buckle area. All hardware is aged looking. Pickups upgraded to Aguilars. Features:
Worn nitrocellulose finished alder body
Maple neck C profile, 7.25 radius and 20 vintage-style frets
Gold anodized pickguard and reverse wind tuners
Look closely at the pictures. This one got an awesome relic job at the factory. Beyond that it plays and sounds great. The wide maple neck and thin vintage style frets feel great. All original but comes with an added ashtray cover for the bridge. Weight is 7 pounds, 13 ounces. No case. I do a full setup and expert packing: details below. Thanks for looking.

Guitar Setup
Setup includes new strings (9s or 10s depending on what the nut is cut for), overall polish, cleaning any gunk off fingerboard, oiling neck, and polishing frets when necessary. We spray out any pots that are noisy, turn the truss rod (if necessary) and set string height at low-to-medium action depending on string buzz present. Since setup is highly subjective you may need to get it set to your particular needs by your personal luthier. Thanks!
Packing
I use quality boxes, thick bubble wrap, and peanuts to pack guitars. I have a very high rate of successful guitar and bass shipping (meaning few damaged instruments). I have been doing this 15 years and know how to pack well–with or without a hard case. I wrote a detailed story with photos on how I pack a guitar, which you can find on my StillKickinMusic site blog. If you Google “Still Kickin – How to Pack a Guitar” you will find it. Thanks.
Manufacturer Info
Those who prize older instruments with the battered look of years on the road and the scars of countless gigs can still have that authentically aged vibe without spending decades on the road themselves. The irresistibly cool look of finish worn through to the wood, rusted hardware, a bruised neck and yellowing plastic parts are yours right away with Road Worn instruments. The Road Worn ’50s Precision Bass sounds, looks and feels like it’s been there and back, has more than a few miles on it, and then some. With authentic 1950s styling aged to impart a lifetime of wear and tear that has somehow made it get even better, it’s a must-have for the bassist who appreciates broken-in look and vibe.
